The Senior position is an integral part of the Inotiv Accounting Team with significant roles in the drafting and editing of the quarterly and annual reports, working closely with the Director, Corporate Accounting and Reporting, and Manager, Corporate Accounting and Consolidations in the completion of ad hoc requests and special projects and working with other finance and non-finance areas, as well as external service providers, to assist with projects, initiatives and deadline driven compliance.

The EMEA Manager, Tax & Finance will manage the day to day running of the direct and indirect taxes for EMEA, and provide support to the EMEA Finance Managers and Director of Finance. With 1 direct report as well as support from the wider Finance team.    Maintaining tight control of reporting deadlines ensuring consistency across different geographical locations and meeting local regulatory and legislative requirements. The individual within this role will support the Director of Finance, EMEA and Finance Managers in securing resolution in any matters or enquiries raised by any of the tax authorities within Europe.   This role will also play a key part in ensuring good quality financial data and reporting, supporting on accounting queries and activities as required, and improving the processes around tax related data gathering and reporting. To deliver this, there will also be a large part of the role requiring building and maintaining good relationships with the Tax team in the US, and external partners, such as tax advisors and auditors.   This is a full-time permanent role, working 37.5hrs per week, with a mix of home and office working

This role requires a highly motivated, hands-on Finance Manager, who will be the “face of Finance” at our Netherlands operational site. You will be playing an active part in partnering with the business and supporting our growth across EMEA, and ensuring we meet all of our statutory requirements. This role will be initially the sole Finance position at our Netherlands site and you will be a member of the EMEA finance team, reporting into the UK-based Director of Finance, EMEA. There is the possibility of creating a small team in the future, depending on business needs. This is a local role giving multinational exposure, as you will be working with Finance colleagues in the UK, Italy and the US. The role includes full ownership locally of routine accounting tasks, month end processes and the preparation of monthly management accounts, delivering the requirements for annual reporting and supporting the wider Finance team in any ad hoc projects. You will also be responsible for delivering cashflow forecasts and cash management activities, based on your knowledge of the business, feeding into the consolidated EMEA weekly forecasting. The role will require you to lead on annual statutory audit work, preparation and delivery of the monthly accounts and financial reporting, primarily delivering for the Netherlands, including analytical review and commentary. You will also partner with and support the Company’s key decision makers through delivering reliable and robust financial information within tight deadlines.

This includes performing daily husbandry and care and of laboratory animals in a research environment as well as sanitization and preparation of animal housing equipment, including operation of a large bulk rack washer. The ACT I may be responsible for performing animal technical procedures and providing animal study support with supervision. The ACT I will work as part of a team conducting routine procedures required for vivarium operation. Individuals must demonstrate strong communication skills and be able to work efficiently in individual and team settings.

Ideally you'll join us on a full time (38 hour week), however we'd be happy to discuss part time with the right candidate!   In this role you will provide appropriate veterinary input to all relevant areas of the company’s work and to satisfy the requirements of relevant legislation in this respect. To ensure that high standards of animal health and welfare are maintained at all times.   Native Dutch speaking preferred.
