Accounts Payable Specialist I

The Accounts Payable Specialist will support the Inotiv team by processing invoices in D365 and JDE, supporting SOX guidelines and assisting in special projects as assigned.  We are currently undergoing a large finance transformation, which this position will be included.  The ability and openness to adapt to change is an absolute must!

On a typical day, the AP Specialist will contribute to the Inotiv team by:

• Handling invoices for separate entities and vendors
• Working with vendors and internal business partners to resolve PO, receiving or other opportunities
• Provide inquiry status to internal business partners and external vendors
• Special projects as assigned by management

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn other accounting software systems. JDEdwards and/or D365 ERP systems experience is beneficial
• Must be highly skilled in Excel using Vlookups, Pivot tables and other normal finance functions utilzed for analytics
• Excellent organizational skills, customer services skills and high attention to detail
• Outstanding verbal and written communication
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change
• Data entry and analytical skills
• General math skills
• High School Diploma
• Prefer 2+ years prior work experience

*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience.  The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person’s relevant experience and/or education level.
